Tyrannosaurus Rex was found in Montana in 1915 by paleontologist Barnum Brown. Originally, Tyrannosaurus Rex was classified as an active predator that hunted down prey. There are many paleontologists however, that Tyrannosaurus Rex was a scavenger that wouldn't hunt down its own prey. The common conclusion that most scientists have come to is that it did both and would hunt down its own prey and could easily bully other predators away from their kills.
